Dillon Noltensmeyer

  • MD candidate UT McGovern Medical School (4th year)

    Contact: homes.director@gmail.com

Stepping into the role of Executive Director of Clinical Operations marks an exciting new chapter after more than three years with HOMES Clinic, beginning on the research team, then leading quality improvement efforts, and now overseeing clinic operations at a broader level. My background as a biomedical engineer and hospital care technician introduced me early on to systematically identifying and closing care gaps that disproportionately affect people without stable housing. Those hospital encounters left a lasting impact and drew me to HOMES’ commitment to treating the whole person, addressing both health and social needs. In this role, I’m focused on making clinic operations more efficient so we can serve more patients, while continuing to expand our social work capabilities as a student-run clinic.

While in college, Peter volunteered for the "Feed My People" breakfast and worked as a medical caregiver in a safety net clinic providing recuperative and hospice care for those living with HIV where he learned just how important individualized, compassionate care plays a role in our patient population's overall well-being. Through debrief sessions at HOMES, Peter has learned all of our volunteers offer such unique perspectives and creative ideas, so he welcomes anyone to reach out to him if they have any ideas for quality improvement at HOMES.
